Okay sure I guess. So they are gonna solve mysteries now with Nagisa since she has the heart of a detective? Is that the direction we are going? Also ya I agree the "mystery solving" in this show has been total bs and illogical but I can ignore that for now.

I can't believe we're getting stuck with a walking cliche -- the violent tsundere -- as a major character. I'm sick to death of physically and verbally abusive female leads in anime. It's not cute and it's a lazy trope for lazy writers. The story's gone nowhere so far, and adding what looks like a chuuni loli to the cast doesn't really improve matters.

I guess this ep happened.

TakeAya performance was great, I love her.

Other than that, I understood pretty much nothing in this ep. They keep talking about nothing, everything felt disconnected and.. what felt like could be a season finale twist just came and went like nothing happened.

Probably giving it another episode, but might drop it before that if I feel like it.

Worst show of the season so far

Yeah I got that (and the anime did explain it), but why do that instead of looking at her medical records...or asking her who her donor was? Or looking up when she received the heart and who died around the same time for a list of possible donors, instead of the off chance this criminal might have heard and remembered, plus given the fact he's been in prison since before her transplant wouldn't that make it even less likely he heard it?
Of course it's obvious why, so we could have the dramatic reveal that it's Siesta's but that doesn't make it any less dumb.

That wouldn't have worked, siesta wasn't her legal name.

Man I prayed for the heart not belonging to dead Siesta, but well here we go .. what a plot twist right? This ep was quite worse than the first one, well I will give it at least one more go but so far it seems not quite that promising...

Really liking this show. I especially like how they place music in during the emotional bits of this show. Kind of sad that the detective has passed away but I look forward to discovering more about her as the story progresses. I think that this is an interesting premise. It's a lot more interesting then all the isekai shows coming out that's for sure.

This whole episode reeked of terrible light novel (that isn't an isekai) dialogue and very lackluster direction and voice acting. For an episode that tried to go for intense reveals and emotions, this one felt like one of the flattest episodes I've seen this year for something that tried to be something. The camera shots were really lazy too. I didn't enjoy the dialogue in the first volume of the light novel, but the anime made it 1000x more awkward to deal with.

Ok, this is a more interesting direction than I previously thought. So we are going to be focusing on the MC’s life after the detective dies and her body parts were donated to other girls. At least that’s more original given the supernatural elements in the show. It still has some trashy harem elements to it, but this premise helps explain that away some, which is smart.

I forgot to note that it was completely obvious whose heart was in her body, so the mystery elements have been very underwhelming so far. The dialogue is also too over-written in trying to be witty, to the point that it feels unnatural.

Oh wow, what a twist. I didn't expect Siesta to be actually dead. I mean, once Kimi mentioned that he remembered having that back-and-forth before, I realized what was going on but... don't do this to me :'(

On the positive side of things, I like Nagisa already. And how could I not with that introduction of her shoving her hand into Kimi's mouth lmao. Being voiced by Ayana Taketatsu of course reminded me of Nino xD.

That ending... Siesta's organs are going to be in different girls, right? At least the ones shown on the cover image. That would be a pretty unique harem haha.

I felt nothing. Its as simple as that, the anime tried to do a very emotional scene, failed completely. Donating a heart and changing your personality is already very stupid, but its anime so i guess i will let pass. The new girl is uhhhh i dont know who she is yet tbh. What we know so far of her is that she has a heart from siesta... and and the worst part is we tried to an emotional scene with her... with a character with literally no personality... besides having a heart from another girl... Guys, i cant be the only who finds this really bad right? It also doesn´t help that it was obvious.
No hashimoto this episode like expected, and the visuals are just... so bland. The mix between the characters and backgrounds is just so terribly done. The animation is also already pretty janky.
3 episodes in (yes 3, because of the double length in the first episode) and it just seems so mediocre although I have also heard that volume 2 is better for some reason, i hope for god it is.
Honest question for LN readers, where is the show going? I have seen people online and here saying that the mystery is not the focus, then what is? Again, this is an honest question.

I really enjoyed that episode.

Animation at times looked really sloppy, but nevertheless it was a very entertaining episode. I was expecting the heart to be Siesta's, but for whatever reason I was still shocked after finding out who it was. I'm excited to see this new chapter with Natsunagi, despite how much I like Siesta's character.

Definitely a step down from episode 1, cause #1 Siesta not here, #2 MC became an emotionless robot or something. I mean if he is sounding emotionless was due to Siesta dying, than I can understand that. I have seen some transformations like these before and they make sort of sense.

Since Siesta's death is being kept a mystery on what actually happened, so it was a little surprising to learn that her heart is inside the new girl, Nagisa. Nagisa is cute, love her design and those casual clothes looked great, but her behavior was a little odd. I swear, stuff that hand in my mouth like that and you would instantly trigger my reflex... Was rather unpleasant to see XD

I guess I will keep watching, I am more interested to learn more about Siesta right now than anything else from the show.

Overall its a great episode and im interested what this anime direction will go

So, 4 years have passed and the MC is still in high school? And haven't aged a bit? What is he, a vampire?

This show is weird, but not in your standard weird way. More like it's weirdly weird...?? Like I don't exactly get the point, is this dude now gonna solve all these mysteries on his own now, using the skill he acquired from being siesta's sidekick? And now that she's dead (roll credits!), how is she gonna be incorporated into this show, seeing that she is like a if not THE main character? We're just gonna see her in flashbacks and stuff as he uses skills that he has learned from her? Kind of sad actually.... (edit) well at least she'll always be there, sort of. Nagisa is a more fun character imo

Although really I don't have any major complaints, this shit is pretty fun really. I mean dude got a down payment via feeling up some boobs. Not bad at all. And collarbones.... what a man of culture this guy is, isn't he LOL. Anyway I'm just hoping this series isn't entirely episodic in nature, which I'm guessing it's not going to be because we do have this "SPES" or whatever organization being nefarious in the background. Really don't know what to expect but I'm hoping for a good time at least.

Wow i am pretty disappointed with this episode, when I saw the new girl, I was hoping it was just a secondary character who was going to disappear when her case was solved. She's pretty unbearable, she's the kind of character that makes me stop an anime, for me it is a drop. The direction of the first episode seemed to be average, but between the explanations on the ellipse and the new character in this episode , it got worse.

Kimihiko remembered the memories of adventure with Siesta as her assistant after he realized that Koumori can't attack Siesta and Nagisa surprisingly can't attack her too since Nagisa's heart is from Siesta then after they finished solving Nagisa's request of who did she got her transplant heart and they separated, but someone pulled Kimihiko's clothes and he thought it was Nagisa, but it's a girl with a hood and a white eyepatch and requesting something to Kimihiko!

can't wait to see the next episode!

So far I’m not super impressed. But it’s okay. I’ll wait it out and see. If we get an in/spectre sized dead spot in the story though I won’t stick with it.

This whole episode was just kinda. Meh. Nothing really made me care about this new girl. And once we found out the twist, I still don’t really care. She’s just. Bland. Which is understandable, she’s not siesta. Hopefully they can flesh her character out past untoasted bread and we can have something interesting.

Don't want to sound rude but, are you fanboys that only knows to say "how dare you not like the show I like, shut up!"? Wouldn't be better if you try to tackle the points he made instead of just ignore them with the classic "don't like it, don't watch it". How is people supposed to critique something if they don't watch it?

Not sure if its true, but in the anime Idoly Pride, they say that in Japan, organ donor information is legally kept private, even from the person receiving the organ.

(Coincidentally, the new girl who showed up at the end, Yui, her voice actress was also in Idoly Pride).

Its not that the show is dialogue heavy. Its just that the dialogue (and storytelling) is bad. "pretentious pseudo intellectual dialogue" is a perfect description. The author thinks he's being smart, clever and thought provoking with his characters and plot, but he himself is not very smart, clever, or thought provoking.
