| Guts and Casca continues to have arguments, but he cares for her. It's pretty clear that Griffith is not interested in Charlotte, he just wants to get closer to the princess. He has ambitions, he can't have too important enemies. The enemy general is so dumb, he thinks he knows everything about protecting that bridge. Well, we'll see next episode! Sometimes the animation was a let down in this episode, the music is good but I belive it's misused. |

A sufficiently powerful demon can be as great as a god even. Since ancient times esp in greek myth, Gods have been ones who behaved as badly as demons. |

| The animation of plants is so beautiful.. To Griffith, Gods and demons are the same.. I can only imagine what would happen in the heart of someone like Guts when he heard the words "Do you really need a reason each time I decide to lay my life on the line for you".. this kinds of moments makes me believe that Griffith did love Guts.. and, the scene under the moon with Guts on the roof.. such a beautiful scene.. one of my favorite moments in this story.. ..the silence and the timing of the music now makes a lot of sense.. |
