New post!
Some personal news that I forgot to tell you about earlier

Hello everyone

Over the past couple of weeks, as I've been finishing posts, I've been remembering that I didn't tell you about some of the personal news I wanted to share. As time passed, these news seemed to become less important, but since I remembered them, why not share them.
At the beginning of this year, everyone in our family managed to get sick — a cold, a fever, a cough, a runny nose, and all at different times. Perhaps it was some new variant of the coronavirus, or maybe it was just a coincidence. It hindered the development a bit at the stage of creating images, but not that much, so I didn't mention it earlier. Anyway, it's all over now, and that's the main thing.
Also, my computer, which I upgraded just two years ago, suddenly started to get very hot — especially the processor. Its temperature reached as much as 85°C, and this despite the fact that it was not subjected to any stress at that moment of heating. Being next to such a hot processor was not particularly comfortable, as if you were sitting by the stove. I had to not only turn off the battery, but also periodically open the window. This turned out to be not the best cooling method, given the winter weather in our country, as I managed to blow through several times because of this. This is in addition to the fact that I was already sick.
Now about the development. The update has been delayed a bit, but work is underway, and we definitely plan to release it this month. Thank you all for your patience and support!
And also, those sponsors who ordered art for the magazine in the new update — write to me in Discord. It seems that I have recorded all of them, but just in case, it's better to double-check.

That's all. Don't get sick and keep an eye on the condition of your equipment, don't repeat my mistakes. Thank you all for your attention!
That awkward moment, when 5686 £/month is not enough to even try to put your shit together, eh?
So now you make an AI excuses? Cool.
For those who missed half their classes during school, I'll explain:
Dude trying to convince us, that processors 85°C is so hot, that it emanates enough heat so the whole case is like a stove. Cool story, bro. Problem is - for significant part of modern processors 85 is somewhat above average working temperature. If by any means it is not for that particular model(which colud be in case of malfunction) - just how big your processor is exaclty to warm up ENTIRE ROOM? a cube with a side of 2 feet? Then coolers should be 3 to 5 feet diameter is suppose with hard drive in the size of bed.
And - yeah, computer diagnostics can be free if you use google sometimes. And clean dust regularly.
"Being next to such a hot processor was not particularly comfortable" then use insulation izolone maybe? Or a fan? Or both?
Can't shake the feeling the whole thing was written by poorly trained AI.

If you aren't doing something intensive that's horrifically hot what are you on about? You can get GPUs and CPUs to idle at 40c abouts if you're simply drawing or writing if you keep your computer clean.

I understand everything, but updates are being released TOO slowly. There's just nothing to do there (except the artist's work). Are mini-games time-consuming to develop? Then they are not needed. Even with all the circumstances that EVERY update hinders the author. TOO slow. Every time. Every update.

Just my opinion. And sry for bad english.

Man, you don't live in the CIS countries and you don't know what a heated processor is in a small room with good heating:LOL:

You've confused CPU and gpu. CPU is too. the CPU is much weaker than the gpu. consumes too little CPU to heat the room. especially the average cpu

Yeah, that's why I mentioned the diagnostics.

Who said I wasn't? My whole post is from my personal experience. For some time I was working in a small room about 60 sq. feet or 5 sq. meters with small window and computer working if not 24/7 then at least 15/7. It was very warm, but tragically "uncomfortable" level of heat emanating from a 80 degeree processor is some kind of fairytale. Well, maybe if I crawled under the table and embraced the case, or maybe if the room was like where Harry Potter lived - then yes it could be pretty uncomfortable. The radiator was folded in that isolon(or something) thing so its effectively warmed the room in somewhat 40%-60% lower rate. Not sure why, but it was different during the week.
And in the summer the problems were somewhat solved with a fan blowed directly to uncovered motherboard. And some reflective sheeting on the window helped to neuter heat from direct sunlight. Strange enough, trivial problems have trivial solutions.
But again, I didn't have 5k euro per month, so I can't tell - maybe I'd behave differently then.

Please, do not forget the brilliant scenario when 6 round revolver turn itself in 20 round semi auto pistol and vice versa during 30 minutes of gameplay. With magical bullets that can dissappear and reappear on their own. A-a-and supermagical train platform that force the MC to always appear on the DIFFERENT side, than the girl he is looking for - regardless of player choise. But again, maybe it is just some "Platform 13 and 5/8 coz fuck you common sense" kind of platform. And there is random prison with heavy time relativeness issues and a huge warehouse full of explosives and a dozen of hypelight prisoners with military grade sapper experience. You know, actually when I wrote it all down, it suddenly have sense. Coz if scenario looks like it was written by 12 y.o. with no actual reading expariance - it is quite understandable, that processor overheating is almost unsolvable issue for him. Yeah, now it all makes sense... I was like that too when I was 12 - even Barsoom stories by Burroughs seemed normal then with its "80 words=1 plot hole" rule.

You sat down to count the money, but are you sponsoring a developer on some platform? If not, then keep your pirate discontent to yourself. And if so, write to discord or in private messages to the author. People have jobs and families, and they also need time to devote to them. And in Russia, it's not so easy to get money from the Patreon.

From what I understand from the last post, the developers are "at the finish line" but they've had an increase in work due to the new gameplay. Not sure if it's the best waste of resources, but at least the guys aren't sitting idle. Besides, even if the gameplay turns out to be bad - everyone has good and not so good ideas - the main thing is that the story and scenes are top notch.

Speaking of the project as a whole, I've been following it for 6 years now, and the game has only gotten better in the last 3 years. It went from a second-rate novel with relatively good visuals to a solid game with an interesting narrative, a huge number of scenes and lots of animations. A lot of people here write about 10 scenes in one update and clearly don't know what they're talking about. In the same Changelog of the 0.23 update, you can see that there were about 25 NSFW scenes and 35 scenes in total. Hell, I don't know almost anyone else in the industry that gives out that much content in one update. Not to mention they're constantly adding 5 animated scenes in each update.

And for those who like to count other people's money, well, someone here wrote about 6700 euros. There are at least 3 people on the team, in addition to Somka108 there is also a scriptwriter and a programmer (judging by the posts and roles on the Discord server). We don't know how the guys divide the money, but for estimation we deduct 15% of Patreon commission and divide the sum by three team members. That works out to about 1,900 euros per person. That's not a lot, right? Not to mention taxes and other bureaucratic nonsense that I don't even want to count. But that's not even the point. Did I ever regret spending 5–10 dollars a month over these three years? Hell no.

And if you want to count other people's money, look at the author Nuteku, who went from 1500 paid subscribers in 2 months to 10000 and now makes probably $60k a month making AI shit, working alone. Now that's someone who definitely doesn't want my money.

In short, it's up to everyone to decide whether to support the developers or not. Maybe I'm biased because this project grew and got better literally before my eyes. But don't say they don't make enough content or don't deserve the "big" money they get. That's simply not true.
