In the game The Long Dark there is a geo electric storm that causes all electronics to fail. Hard to believe ICSTOR went through that. I would genuonely give him the benefit of the doubt, because my guess is he lives in south america and the infrastructure there is so horrid even a mild thunderstorm could knock it all out.
